DEMU 1018 1970s London Bridge
Hastings DEMU No. 1018 after arrival at London Bridge in the 1970s. The blue and grey livery was introduced from September 1967 and was a great improvement over the plain blue scheme. The tower block in the background is not the 15-storey building constructed as part of ‘Operation London Bridge’ which was not completed until 1975.
