Heading north for repairs hauled by 90269 and with a 15T Cowans Sheldon crane Crane No 104 behind the sick NB Type 2.
D6104 was en route from Hornsey to Doncaster Works. It started off from Hornsey with 90269 (34E) but presumably engines were swapped at Peterborough as was later reported being hauled by 61074 (34E). Both 61074 & D6104 were in Doncaster Works on 12 April 1959. The crane was bought by the GCR in 1898, it was at Hornsey from July 1944 to 6/11/61. It was withdrawn c. 1963
