Ex-Great Eastern Railway J. Holden 'T26' (LNER 'E4') class 2-4-0 No. 62788. Built at Stratford in July 1895 as GER No. 496 and withdrawn in March 1958.

Languishing at Lowestoft MPD in Suffolk, 62788 appears in a rather woebegone state amidst a sand spillage. Appearances can be deceptive as she has still nearly two years service ahead. Note the strengthening plate added to the frame in front of the leading driving wheel.
