The unlovely but distinctive-looking ex-LMS '0F' 0-4-0 Saddletanks were not an LMS design, but a product of Kitson of Leeds, one of Britain's earliest and most prolific independent locomotive manufacturers. 47004 at Derby MPD in June 1953 sandwiched between two ex-MR 0-6-0 Tanks.
