0F' 0-4-0T at Lostock Hall was the British Railways built version which had a shorter tank and longer coal bunker. It had been allocated to Preston from new in December 1953, transferring to Lostock Hall in September 1961 after the fire at the former shed. No. 47008 was photographed on the last day of September 1962 with WD 2-8-0 No. 90720.
