At Boston Station, Lincolnshire, on Thursday, 7th May 1953, ex-Great Northern Railway Gresley 'K2' class 2-6-0 No. 61762 was on station pilot duty. Built by NBL of Glasgow in June 1918 as GNR No. 1672, it was withdrawn from service in June 1959.
