Ex-North Eastern Railway Worsdell 'P1' (LNER 'J25') class 0-6-0 No. 65706. Built at Darlington in May 1900 as NER No. 2055 and withdrawn in December 1959.

This charming view came with no details, however thanks to some educated guesses and one of the railway historians' most valued assets - Google Maps the answer was eventually determined. 65706 is approaching Bedlington North Crossing (and our unknown cameraman) from the Morpeth direction and has evidently benefitted from a replacement smokbox recently judging by its glossy appearance!
