The former GCR's Annesley MPD in Nottinghamshire was home to freight locomotives in the main. Particularly, the ex-GCR Robinson 'O4' and the Thompson 'O4' rebuilds, the excellent 'O1' 2-8-0 class. This fine March 1961 study captures one of the latter. 63777 was rebuilt at Gorton in Nov. 1946 as LNER No. 3561 and was withdrawn in Oct. 1962
