N7/1’ 0-6-2T No. 69634, waiting with an Ongar train alongside a Central Line tube train, was built as No. 828 at Gorton in February 1926, received its BR number in May 1948 and kept its Belpaire firebox until February 1951; although re-numbered on the tank side, it had not yet been fitted with a smokebox number plate.
