Looking towards Brecon at Pontsticill Junction, 9675 on the outside of the island up platform, possibly having worked the 4.15 p.m. from Merthyr which connected at Pontsticill with the 3.00 p.m. from Newport to Brecon, as indicated by the up main line signal being off.
It has no railway now but Pontsticill appears to have been on the line from Merthyr Tydfil and is now home to the Heritage Brecon Mountain Railway , if I am correct !
9675 appears to have been allocated to Merthyr at this date.
