9755 GWR 57XX 0-6-0PT No 9755 with 16XX 0-6-0PT No 1624 on Drinnick Mill to St. Blazey clay wagons between High Street siding and Burngullow on 13 July 1961

Peter Kerslake adds "The line from the china clay dries at Burngullow to St. Dennis Junction on the Par to Newquay line was beset with gradients of 1 in 40 at its steepest together with a series of severe curves. This limited use to short wheelbase locomotives on the china clay workings and in later years requiring regular double headed workings."
