Down freight passing Moreton Cutting Sidings, viewed SE, towards Reading and London. The tracks at this location are 'up/down local' on the north side and 'up/down main' on the south side with Moreton Yard on the north side. This quadruple arrangement extends from Paddington to the west of Didcot. The Class H freight train is on the Down Slow line, headed by 4-6-0 No. 4950 'Patshull Hall' (built 8/29, withdrawn 6/64). Note the Birds Eye container in the train- the first I have seen outside East Anglia.
