Having gathered a fair pace since leaving Paddington, No 6973 ‘Bricklehampton Hall’ forges past Iron Bridge near Greenford, with a late afternoon express on 21st February 1963. Built in 1947, this ‘Modified Hall’ saw service until August 1965 - a career of only 18 years.
