6974 1950s Dawlish

6974 1950s Dawlish

A grubby 6974 " Bryngwyn Hall " heads out from Kennaway Tunnel and passes under the 1879 built footbridge here at Dawlish with the Guest House of Marine Parade on the extreme right in this view
The lamp code is for an " All Stations " stopping service , and although my 1956 shedbook has this engine at Old Oak Common , I suspect that at the date of this picture it may well be a locally based engine , possibly at Newton Abbbot or Laira.
