Great Western Railway designed Hawksworth 'Modified Hall' class 4-6-0 No. 7926 'Willey Hall'. Built at Swindon in Oct. 1950 and withdrawn in Dec. 1964. Pictured with an up freight at Banbury in May 1964 is the rather unfortunately named 'Willey Hall' that must, on occasion, have been on the receiving end of many a schoolboy joke! Such are the perils of naming locomotives inappropriately...
