Allocated to Oxford 81F shed, GWR Modified Hall 4-6-0 No 7900 St.Peter's Hall passes West Ealing with an Express Goods off the Greenford line on 28 November 1959. It will have come from Banbury via the GW & GC joint line and will probably be heading for Acton Yard. The yard seen here fanning off to the right with four long sidings was originally laid out as a coal yard, but by this period it appears to be also used to sore 'overflow' vehicles from the nearby PW sidings.
