Peter Kerslake says "7915 Mere Hall makes heavy work of its departure with a freight at Tramway Junction and past Horton Road shed. The freight, which looks like coal, has been worked up from South Wales via Severn Tunnel Junction and someone has made an effort to clean part of 7915' s cabside which looks remarkably clean beneath the layer of grime. My notes show that 7915's nameplates had been removed probably here at Gloucester two days earlier, although the cabside and smokebox door numberplates are still in place."
