LMS Royal Scot 4-6-0 No 6109 Royal Engineer approaches Tring with a Euston to Manchester London Road express in 1938. The cross head vacuum pump has been removed and the insignia appear to be still the 1936 block style. Most likely taken in the summer of 1938. The deflectors have yet to be changed to the final curved top type
