LMS Royal Scot 4-6-0 No 6159 The Royal Air Force at Crewe North shed when newly fitted with straight smoke deflector plates.

Ian R Townend says "The deflectors were fitted at the end of Jan 1932. There is no works visit recorded at this time so presumably the fitting was done on shed and that was when the photo was taken "
