It's July 1960 at Rotherham Masborough (or Masboro') Station and ex-Midland Railway Johnson ''1121' (LMS '1F') 0-6-0 Tank No. 41875 is on yard duties. By good fortune, another ex-Midland Deeley '3F' No.43814 enters the scene with a freight consisting of scrap steel that will be recycled at one of Rotherham's huge steel plants. 41875 was built by Rob't Stephenson & Co. in Aug. 1899 as MR No. 2379 whilst 43814 was a Jan. 1907 product of Derby as MR No. 3814. They were withdrawn in July 1963 and Oct. 1960 respectively.
