A wonderful scene taken at Gare de Belfort in 1953. It features SNCF '241A' class 4-cylinder compound 4-8-2 No. 241-A-89 taking water. This was the penultimate locomotive in a class of 90 that were built between 1926 and 1933. The builders were Fives-Lille and ASFCM of Alsace and they were withdrawn by 1965. One (241-A-65) survives in preservation.
