The small wooden MPD at Strabane, Co. Tyrone is seen in June 1954. County Donegal Railway 2-6-4 Tanks 'Blanche' and 'Foyle' are ready for their next duties whilst the railwayman goes off in search for a match to light his fag! Both locomotives were built by Nasmyth Wilson & Co. Circa 1912 and withdrawn in 1959. n.b. Apologies for any errors in this description.
