SR V 4-4-0 No 30933 King's Canterbury recorded as with the 9.22am Ramsgate-Victoria at Bickley Junction, where the Orpington Loop diverged to the right, on 30 September 1958.

Alan Goodwin says "Loco has head code for Dover-Victoria via Faversham and duty number looks like 431, which would have been a Dover duty. Could this be the 09.20 Dover to Victoria, which preceded the 09.22 Ramsgate from Faversham? "

and further "as originally dated 30/9/1958 was a Tuesday and 431 did not exist during the week in Winter 1958/9 either.
However, on Saturdays commencing 6th September, Dover 431 was indeed the 09.16 Dover Priory to Victoria (09.20 retimed probably due to electrification work).
Therefore, I think it is most likely to be a Saturday, probably the 27th."
