Robert Waterman adds "Further to my previous comment regards the rusty third rail and both crossovers rusted in the 1959-04-22 photo of 34037 at this same location, the re-signalling and widening to 4 tracks between Bickley Junction and Swanley has now been commissioned (during the previous weekend) ready for the electric service to start 1959-06-15."
