SR V 4-4-0 No 30901 Winchester with the 10.15am Charing Cross-Hastings recorded as leaving Quarry Hill tunnel on 9 November 1954, but the correct name is Summerhill Tunnel. Alan Goodwin explains that Quarry Hill is the main road south out of Tonbridge that runs more or less parallel to the railway line, hense the confusion.
