Highbridge (Somerset & Dorset) Station, with train to Evecreech Junction view westward, towards Burnham-on-Sea. The ex-S&D Joint line from Evercreech Junction, closed 7/3/66, although the line on to Burnham-on-Sea closed to passengers 29/10/51 (excursions until 9/62). The Burnham line (on the right) crossed the ex-GW (Bristol & Exeter) main line by a flat junction - just off scene to the left and at the north end of Highbridge (GW) station. The train here is the 2.20pm to Evercreech Junction, headed by Collett '2251' 0-6-0 No. 3215 (built 12/47).
