2226 1950s Landore

2226 1950s Landore

Coupled to ROD tender. Two tracks lead from turntable on left. Always a Welsh loco off Neyland and Landore so this would make sence.
Peter kerslake says " Yes , in this very interesting view of 2226 at Landore she is clearly shown coupled to one of the massive 47 tonne , 4000 gallon tenders which had come from condemned " Aberdare " class 2-6-0 's as and when they were withdrawn from service , those same tenders having been of Robinson's Great Central design and formerly used on R.O.D. class locomotives .
