9021 1950s Machynlleth
Peter Kerslake says "Seen here in the distinctive surrounds of Machynlleth Depot 9021 had started life in November of 1938 as 3221, constructed using the frames of withdrawn "Bulldog" 3411 "Stanley Baldwin" together with cab and fittings, and possibly the boiler from "Duke" 3259 "Merlin".
Housed at Machynlleth, Oswestry and Aberystwyth and spending its twenty years life on the Cambrian network 9021 was condemned from Machynlleth on the 1st. of December 1958."
