GNR class K2 2-6-0 No 61779 rescuing failed B12 4-6-0 No 61508 with the Aberdeen to Ballater branch train nearing Glassel on April 13th, 1953. This was on the 1 in 70 three mile incline and required rescue from the branch freight loco sent back from Ballater.
