Ex-Great Northern Railway Ivatt 'J1' class 0-6-0 No. 65013. Built at Doncaster in November 1908 as GNR No. 14 and withdrawn in December 1954.
In April 1954 its last year of service, 65013 awaits the call of duty with Hitchin MPD's somewhat elderly breakdown train, the mess, packing and running coaches all being of GNR origin.
