LMS 3F 0-6-0T No 47478 ex-works at Derby shed on 5 May 1957. A smashed up MR lamp post is lying on the ground.
Allocated to 87K - the ex LNWR Swansea Paxton Street shed but previously outstationed to the ex MR sub shed of Upper Bank - note it is auto fitted and was used on the Swansea St Thomas - Brynamman East passenger services - these finished in 1950, and the autofitted Jinties then worked services from Swansea Victoria to Pontardulais.
