3186 1956-07 Newton Abbot MPD
Another of George Jackson Churchward's pioneering GWR standard classes were the '3150' class 2-6-2 Tanks. Only 41 were built between 1906-8, a design well ahead of its time. In July 1956, Newton Abbot MPD in Devon is the setting for 3186.
