David J Hayes says Possibly a Euston to Holyhead service, which has travelled via the Trent Valley section of the WCML, thus avoiding Birmingham (I couldn't find any reference to 1D56 in the Birmingham area WTT). The recently ex-works AL6/Class 86 electric looks as though it is being uncoupled from its train in readiness for a diesel to take the service forward.
