Stored here from December 1965 until at least May 1966

Tony Saville says" This engine was previously in store at Staveley GC (although allocated to Langwith Jct) and is recorded there on Shed Bash on both 19/6/65 & 4/7/65 and seems unlikely to have seen active service before arriving at Oxford. even though not withdrawn until 23/1/66. It seems likely she was being towed to her death via the GC London Extension, Banbury and Oxford but was perhaps dumped at Oxford with say a Hot Box. Can anyone expand on this engine being at Oxford?"

She was eventually scrapped at Cashmore's Newport at an unrecorded date.
