WD 2-8-0 No 90096 with an up freight pounding up the gradient out of Nottingham London Road Junction on 12 April 1952. It clearly carries a 35C Spital Bridge shed plate but the BRDatabase has it as off New England.

The April 1952 edition of the Railway Observer also confirms this saying "90096 (35C), on Derby shed 21/3/52"
