WD ‘Austerity’ 2-8-0 No.90081 at Beningbrough with a northbound Class ‘F’ express freight made up of all unfitted stock in the mid-1950s while it was allocated to Newport, one of the sheds replaced by Thornaby when it was modernised in 1958. As with other ‘Austerities’, No. 90081 had several numbers starting with No.77290 when it was built in 1944, No.3081 in 1947, No. 63081 in 1948 and finally No.90081 in November 1950
