Trevor Warner adds "I think Longdown Lane would be a modern apellation - it was always known to me as Barby Lane. I took several "Box Brownie" pictures there in the 50s. The post of bracketed distant signal just visible in the other picture I purchased (LNER ROD 3899) was still present when I last looked about 12 years ago (2010)! "
