Gresley Society special train from Kings Cross - Doncaster with 60106. Then 4472 from Doncaster to Darlington & return and finally 60106 back to Kings Cross from Doncaster. On the return No 60106 reached the summite of Stoke bank at 69mph and 95 mph downhill despite a check at Essendine. (At Darlington, a visit was made to the Works.)
