A superb aerial view from Patricroft MPD's coaling tower in 1966. If you work there as did Jim Carter, this privileged vantage point comes as a bonus with the job! Two BR Standard '9F' 2-10-0s, two ex-LMS '8F' 2-8-0s and a BR Standard '2' class' 2-6-2 tank can be identified.
