Clan No.72008 Clan MacLeod photographed heading southbound from the footbridge, towards Golborne Station. The embankment in the background is the Great Central Railway built St Helens Central to Lowton St. Mary's branch line. No. 72008 was always allocated to Carlisle Kingmoor and lasted until April 1966. Its AWS was fitted by early 1961.
