It's a bitterly cold day at Doncaster MPD. One of the ubiquitous GNR designed Gresley 'J50/3' Tanks that could be found all over the LNER system, though particularly on the ECML route south of York sits simmering alongside the snow covered ashes. The ragged cab sheet will do little to allay the cold I fear! Sunday 6th January 1963.
