Emerging with stock from the carriage shed at Dover is apallingly grubby, Ashford allocated, ex-SR Maunsell 'N15' 30804 'Sir Cador of Cornwall'. Sir (or Duke) Cador may have been a real character and not just an Arthurian legend who allegedly ruled Cornwall circa 1457. I bet he looked smarter than 30804! This photo was taken on Tuesday 2nd August 1955.
