Leaving Folkestone and passing its Cheriton suburb in July 1947, is Southern Railway Maunsell L1 No. 1782 in typically grubby post war livery. 1782 was built by NBL of Glasgow in Apr. 1926 and withdrawn in Feb. 1961 as BR No. 31782.
