There are a couple of Ivatt tanks on station pilot duty and a Crab is in the sidings awaiting to take out a train, it has not necessarily come from Manningham shed as there was a turntable out of view behind the signal box. The Valley Road Power Station dominates the distance with its wooden 'Davenport' cooling towers, there is a whisp of smoke from the 300ft chimney so it is in use and indeed it was not closed until 1976.
