David J Hayes says "Quite possibly an MGR destined for Northfleet cement works, which took in coal from Welbeck for a good many years. However, I believe there were also MGR workings routed via Wandsworth Road around this time from the Midlands to Ridham Dock for the Bowater paper mill. Such working were sometimes backloaded north with Kent coal from Betteshanger for the steel industry".
