1365 1958c Swindon

In poor external condition but is dated c1957-59, when 1365 ran without a toolbox on the frame above centre wheels. The box was in situ when loco withdrawn at Bristol in 1962
My 1956 shedbook shows that whilst Plymouth's Laira shed had three of the five " 1361 " class of saddle tanks on their allocation at that period in time , namely 1361 , 1363 and 1364 , Swindon shed had this one , 1365 on their books , the engine being used in and around the Swindon Works complex , marshalling locomotives and wagons , its short wheelbase and small diameter wheels being essential for such duties.
Taunton Shed had 1362 on its allocation , the engine being used at Dunball Wharf and Bridgwater Docks , with Laira sending 1363 up to Taunton during the War Years as a temporary replacement for that shed's 2195 used at that time on such duties
