Dean 1701 class 0-6-0ST No 1751 is seen as rebuilt in 1908 with a dome on the rear ring of the boiler and an extended smokebox. With 2-8-0T 5274 in the background the photo was probably taken around 1930. It was rebuilt with pannier tanks in 1932.

5274 was new to Duffryn, but St Blazey from 1929 where 1751 also was working from in 1933-4.
