61644 Earlham Hall was the tenth and final B17 to be rebuilt from its former three cylinder configuration intoa two cylinder B2 and the only one rebuilt under British Railways. 61644 remained in service in until November 1959, the last rebuild to survive being 61607 Blickling which lasted until January 1960.
