61660 1960-04-30 Wellingborough

LNER B17 No.61660 was allocated to March from January 1960 for the last six months of its life and would have worked across from Peterborough on a local passenger working to the LNWR Wellingborough station, and had failed en-route. Note that the 4-6-0s Hull City nameplates have gone, already presented to the football club she was named after. The rear shot of the tender shows the cylinder slung under the buffer beam which is the air reservoir for the Westinghouse brake.
