VoR 2-6-2T No 1212 with a Devil's Bridge train waiting to leave Aberystwyth in 1925c. This was the only one of the Davies & Metcalfe tanks painted in full GWR livery. When the three new Swindon-built locos 7 & 8 arrived in 1923 and 1213 arrived new in 1924 it was little used and eventually was sent back to Swindon as surplus to requirements and eventually scrapped in 1932 after sitting on the Swindon scrap line for a few months.
